Without thinking I charged towards the shore and into the water till I was thigh deep in. It was about fifty something degrees in the water and I immediately began shaking. Not caring whether bystanders would hear me I screamed till my lungs went dry, "Percy Jackson! Where are you?" That was it; I couldn't stand another day without knowing where he is. I dropped into the water on my knees lifelessly getting my clothing soaked. I stared out at the still sea, it was dark and a half moon hovered above me. With one last breath of air that smelled just like Percy, I stood back up and headed back towards the safe house.
Soon I saw a blue green hazy light against the sand. Like an aquarium reflects against a wall. A voice called, "A-Annabeth?" Turning around on the spot, there he stood in the water. "Percy!" I exclaimed, slicing through the water I ran towards his warm embrace. Instead I ran right through him and fell into the water. Sputtering, I realized he was made of mist and glowed sea green like a holographic image, similar to an Iris message.
Standing back up I walked to him and tried to touch his face, but my hand slipped right through. "P-Percy." I stuttered, but I controlled my feelings and demanded seriously, "Where are you? Are you all right? Are you held hostage?" He had a bewildered expression and he murmured to himself, "Anna-beth? Are you…?" He trailed off and hesitated. I almost grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him, "No, no! Perseus Jackson! Don't you remember me? You have to remember me!" I said desperately.
He looked at me sympathetically and whispered, "Don't cry, whoever you are." He attempted to wipe my tears, but it didn't work. He shook his head and he smiled slightly, "Wait, Annabeth you haven't been washing your hair again have you?" I looked up and stared into his gorgeous eyes, the only thing that didn't have the same color as the haze he was. I smiled, wiped my tears and whispered, "Oh, Seaweed Brain. What happened?"
As stupid as we were, we stood there staring at each other for a couple of seconds. All too soon he frowned and murmured, "I-I don't…" He struck his head with his palm and tried to regain his thoughts again. There was a faint voice behind him. With no time to waste I commanded, "Percy, where are you?" He kept looking back and stammered, "Uh… I'm not—I'm not suppose…" Then a husky military voice called, "Jackson!" In a flash of mist he disappeared, without a goodbye, again.
Not able to think straight I sulked back towards the beach, shaking and tears dripping down my face. How could have I let him go so easily? It was my perfect opportunity to find out where he was, but my feelings got in the way. Kicking the sand angrily and feeling my regret a female voice called, "Oh Annabeth, what shall you do?" I turned and thought, "Oh no, not her." Inclining my head I said, "Lady Aphrodite." She grinned a Barbie doll grin and cooed, "Oh Annabeth, woe is you. What shall you do?" Giving a fake sympathetic pout, she stepped out of the sea foam and grimaced, "Whenever I appear near the ocean, it always have to be in, eck." She wore a one shoulder shimmering silver dress that reach the floor. With her hair grouped in elaborate curls that flowed down her back, she was sickening to look at. She seemed like she was about to walk down a red carpet, not talk to a teenage girl at the beach.
She began, "I have decided to help you on your mission to find your beloved Percy by giving you truthful advice." My mind clicked, hey she's a goddess, she knows a lot of information. "You know where Percy is don't you?" I questioned. She waved my question away and scoffed, "Athena's children are always so sure of themselves. Why don't we get to more important matters?" I replied hotly, "What is more important than finding my boyfriend?" She began to look impatient, which is not a good thing to see on a goddess. I got to the point, "Not to be rude Lady Aphrodite, but why are you here?"
He face contorted into something equally beautiful and devilish. "Who'd you think sent you that vision of Percy to you sweetie?" I gaped at her and she sounded so oddly familiar to Drew. She continued, "I'm no Iris, neither am I a Hermes. It's called generosity hon. I'm here to help you. I showed you that Percy is perfectly safe… at least for now. What I'm here to tell you is, you need to stop searching for the boy."
My hand touched my knife as a strange reflex and she eyed it too. "What?" I spat rather rudely. "You are the goddess of love aren't you? You're supposed to support this "searching for romance" thing!" Her eyes flickered dangerously, "Annabeth Chase, you do not tell me how to do my job. You're just like you mother." I couldn't help but snarl at her. Her face was calm but a dangerous pink hue flamed around her and in her eyes. "You must stop searching for him. Your relationship with him will become such a mess if you continue to date him. You and Percy were never meant for each other. Seriously, there are so many other men out there that'd love to be with you. Rather than Percy who no longer remembers you—"
"Hera put you up to this didn't she?" I snarled viscously. Her pink hue seemed to blast for one second, "Demigod, no god not goddess tells the all powerful Aphrodite how to manage love." I folded my arms because I was still freezing. "What about Athena? I know she doesn't approve of me and Percy. Yeah, that's probably it. The gods and goddesses are planning something and you don't want be interfering with Percy. Is that it?"
The sea foam began to churn rapidly, "I warn you daughter of Athena, you're edging yourself towards an enemy. I am here to help your love life, if you continue to treat me with such disrespect, I swear you'll never find love. Even you're wise enough to know that don't you?" Grasping my knife more firmly, a misty pink haze was swirling around her. "You will see to it to stop searching for Percy." Her expression seemed irritated and I was on the edge of exploding. I whipped my dagger out and threw it, a deadly accurate hit. The second I threw it she disappeared, leaving a strong scent of Chanel perfume. I picked up my knife and rubbed my arms. It was still dark, and the wind blew harder. Matching how I felt inside.
For some reason I knew Athena was the one who convinced Aphrodite to separate Percy and me. I was roaring inside, I needed to find out more and I needed to find Percy. I felt Aphrodite's words pierce me like knives, "You and Percy were never meant for each other." Was she lying or was it the truth? I was tired and out of energy, and tomorrow I was needed. Taking one last look at the ocean I walked back towards the safehouse

Harry Potter Talk
"Daughters of Aphrodite, could you please not flirt with the Apollo boys? Just this once? We've got a schedule here!"
"Annabeth, honestly, you're just stressing yourself out."
"You're no fun, Annabeth!"
"I am not, Percy."
"Yes, you are."
"I just don't like to cram about this, you know. I mean, the camp's looking great but I still have Olympus to work on... Okay, guys! Hecate's statue goes right
there. Great! Thanks!"
"I finally get the girl but she'd end up ignoring me."
"Don't you think it's cool, though? We get to add 8 more cabins! And it's all thanks to
Percy? Hey! Where're you going

"To the lake."

The whole camp didn't like her like her late brother. She didn't have control over fire, like her new brother. She was good with her hands. That's all seven years at camp had brought Nyssa. Mockery and virtual invisibility. It seemed people only noticed her if they were noticing her flaws. No one past her older brother, Jake, ever seemed to see past the layers of grease.
Nyssa tried to do something about the mockery of the Aphrodite cabin, and now here she was, washing dishes, as the rest of

The Strange Life and Love of Leo Valdez Part 2
Leo had forgotten all about his best friend's birthday, probably the worst mistake he could have made.
He'd left Jason's gift back at the bunker; if he could go get it quickly
He heard a clanking whirring sound behind him and turned to find Buford just behind his cabin. A drawer popped open to reveal the gift.
"Dude," Leo said, "You are the best table in the history of furniture."
He walked into the party and found Jason and Piper off to the side near the Zeus cabin, making out of cou

Well, my first fan fiction about the Percy Jackson series. This is the alternative and my version on how Annabeth sort of finds Percy. No, I'm not continuing this because it's a complete different plot. Anyway, enjoy!
